I love this place! Other
pizzerias in the West End get lots of attention, but Bel-Aire is the best (and
trust me, I've tried them all).
The pizza is done in a more traditional style (my father says it reminds him of
the pizza he used to eat in Brooklyn in the 1950s), with sauce like my
grandmother used to make. And the cheese-to-sauce ratio is just right.
All the pizzeria standard menu items are there (heroes, basic pasta dishes,
etc.), and most are less expensive than the other West End joints. Plus they

I like that this place feels like a small, locally owned pizza shop. We ordered a few slices of pizza that were heated up for a minute or so and some garlic knots. The pizza was okay but was a little burnt on the bottom. I probably would pick West End Pizza or Gino's over going back here. Reviewed by Julie B.
